Messenger: mac 7

Σήμερα για κάποιο λόγο δεν μπορώ να συνδεθώ με το Adium στο MSN, είπα λοιπόν να δοκιμάσω το Messenger της Microsoft…

Τι καινούριο έχει:

• Built for corporate Mac users on Office Communications Server 2007, Messenger for Mac 7 gives co-workers new ways to communicate easily with each other in different locations or time zones.
• Custom emoticons (59 max) (ε καλά δεν είναι καινούριο αλλά μου λείπει στο Adium)
• Additionally, personal users will find a few improvements for managing their contact lists.
• Bonjour Support

Tι καινούριο δεν έχει ο messenger! Λοιπόν:

Περιμένοντας για το switch!

Εδώ και καιρό λέω να κάνω το switch και να αγοράσω ένα Macbook Pro. Ξεκινώντας όμως την έρευνα αγοράς είδα πως το σημερινό μοντέλο είναι εκεί έξω από το Φεβρουάριο, έτσι είπα να περιμένω το καινούριο μοντέλο… κάπως έτσι έχω παγιδευτεί σε μια ατελείωτη αναμονή!

Τον Οκτώβρη θα φύγω Κέρκυρα για τις σπουδές μου, έτσι αργά ή γρήγορα θα  χρειαστώ ένα υπολογιστή! Από την άλλη όμως θα απογοητευτώ αν δώσω τόσα πολλά χρήματα και μετά από ένα μήνα βγει ένα καινούριο μοντέλο ή το δικό μου πέσει στη μισή τιμή!

Τελικά νομίζω πως πρέπει να περιμένω μιας που ακόμα δεν το χρειάζομαι άλλα το θέλω πραγματικά!

Πω! Τελικά η apple μπορεί να σε μετατρέψει σε καταναλωτή με ζωώδη ένστικτα!

Πάνω που είχα χάσει τις ελπίδες μου στο αν θα ξαναβρώ download manager που θα δουλεύει με Rapidshare Premium Account βρηκαν το JDownloader.

Το καλό με αυτόν είναι ότι:

• Δουλεύει με Rapidshare Premium Account
• Κάνει extract μόνο του τα συμπιεσμένα αρχεία ακόμα και αν αποτελούνται από parts ή έχουν password!
• Και τέλος είναι και για PC και Linux και για Mac! αφού είναι γραμμένο σε Java. Για τα mac υπάρχει και ξεχωριστό build σε .dmg!
